Snowboarding

Have any of you tried snowboarding? What do you like best about it? Where do you go? Have you had any injuries? Do you do it for leisure or competition? I haven’t tried snowboarding & just like with skiing, doesn’t appeal to me. Doesn’t help that I don’t like the cold too much but I've seen it on TV & am curious if it's a popular sport out there.

I live in New England (US) and snow boarding is very popular here. Personally I ski but have snowboarded before when I was a teenager. I enjoy skiing more because I like being balanced on my center vs sideways
